Job Summary
The Learning Content Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing, interactive, and user-friendly digital learning experiences. This role focuses on the design and development of multimedia content that supports Swissport’s learning initiatives.
By leveraging modern design technologies and methodologies, including xAPI standards and modular design templates, the Content Designer ensures that traditional and digital learning solutions are engaging and aligned with Swissport’s goals of enhancing safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The designer collaborates with cross-functional teams to create cutting-edge, AI-driven, and immersive learning experiences that captivate learners and improve retention.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive, visually engaging digital learning solutions using tools such as Photoshop, After Effects, Animate, and Articulate 360/Rise.
- Incorporate 3D modelling techniques and tools to create realistic simulations and immersive content.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, project managers, and subject matter experts to create intuitive user experiences that enhance learning outcomes.
- Create multimedia assets, including graphics, animations, and videos, to support immersive learning technologies (e.g., VR, AR, XR).
- Integrate AI-powered tools to enhance personalization and learning efficiency within digital platforms.
- Ensure that learning materials are visually aligned with Swissport’s brand standards and organizational goals.
- Optimize UX design to support effective and efficient learning, focusing on ease of navigation and engagement.
- Contribute to the design of interactive elements such as quizzes, simulations, and scenario-based learning activities to enhance learner engagement.
- Implement modular design principles and reusable templates to streamline content development and scalability.
- Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and AI advancements to continuously improve the quality and impact of digital learning experiences.
Skill, Qualifications and Competencies
- Proven experience in graphic design, multimedia content creation, and 3D modelling for digital learning applications.
- Expertise in design tools such as Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Blender, and Articulate 360/Rise, with knowledge of animation techniques.
- Experience designing intuitive and engaging user experiences for immersive learning platforms (VR, AR, XR).
- Familiarity with xAPI standards and implementation for tracking learner performance and analytics.
- Strong visual storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging multimedia content.
- Ability to leverage AI tools for enhancing interactivity, content development, and personalization in learning experiences.
- Experience working in highly technical or transferable industries, such as aviation, engineering, or technology sectors.
- Proficiency in modular design principles and the use of design templates to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and technology trends.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in multimedia design, with a focus on user experience in digital learning environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience in designing for immersive learning technologies (VR, AR, XR) and AI-based applications is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating engaging, visually appealing learning experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
