Reports to:Head of Corporate Risk
Group Corporate Risk is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team focused on enhancing the company's resilience through a strong risk culture.
As a Risk Manager, you will develop and maintain an effective risk management framework that integrates seamlessly into the decision-making process. You will focus on identifying and addressing key strategic risks and issues.
With your expertise in risk management, you will gain valuable experience in shaping corporate strategies and fostering a positive risk culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the corporate risk register and manage an analytical framework to assess and monitor top corporate risks
- Assist in planning and conducting risk identification workshops and scenario planning exercises
- Support the development of risk mitigation plans based on identified top risks
- Monitor developments in the industry and global environment to identify emerging trends and assess their impact
- Conduct research on key risk topics and derive relevant insights
- Collaborate with business units and risk owners to monitor changes in risk profiles and ensure progress on mitigation strategies
- Prepare reports for executive committees and senior management, compiling supporting documents and data
- Build a network of contacts across the organisation to gather intelligence and influence decisions
- Work with leadership to promote a positive risk culture and foster an environment for open discussion
- Establish a reputation as a trusted advisor to the business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit, or related fields
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess risk trends and their impact on business outcomes
- Analytical mindset with strong numeracy and logical reasoning skills
- Interest in current affairs and enthusiasm for research and insights development
- Curious nature, willing to question and seek thorough understanding of issues
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with strong presentation skills
- Ability to write concise reports and organize data effectively
- Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus
