Role Introduction
Reports To: Crew Services Manager
This role is part of a professional team in our Flight Operations Department, which consists of flight crew and ground staff teams, both working to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency and service.
As a Crew Services Officer, you will provide administrative support to Flight Crew and Cabin Crew, for areas related to crew hotels, outport transport and taxis, catering and special meals.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and process reimbursement of allowances and expense claims for flight crew, including but not limited to, allowance shortfalls and taxi reimbursements due to roster disruptions, visa fees, medical certificate claims, crew Medical Surveillance Testing fees
- Manage and distribute flight crew with lockers, name badges, name cards, mailboxes and car park permit
- Prepare monthly payroll, yearly budget and forecast
- Invoice handling e.g. purchase order creation and goods receipt for hotel and other expenses
- Handle the replacement of Cathay ID cards and uniform for flight crew.
- Publish Flight Crew Notices
- Provide administrative and logistical/travel support for overseas hotel inspection. Provide a point of contact with Flight Crew and Cabin Crew in regards to crew hotels, transport, catering, allowances and reimbursements
- Coordinate with catering for monthly special meal reporting and ad hoc requests for Flight Crew
- Handle Flight Crew queries relating to lockers, name badges, name cards, mailboxes, car park, expense claims and special meal
- Manage specific duties and responsibilities as required by Crew Services Manager and Head of Flight Crew People Services

Knowledge
Skills
- Customer oriented mind-set with excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with people of different cultures
- Team player and able to work under pressure
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn other systems such as SAP
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Experience
- Minimum 2 year experience in the airline, tourism or hospitality industry.
