Job Purpose
Support Health & Safety activities of Vueling, in accordance with the current legislation and regulations in each country and the Company Policies regarding Health & Safety, in order to ensure the safety and health of all workers by identifying and managing (eliminating or reducing) work-related risks
Main Accountabilities
- Ensure legal compliance and avoid legal and reputational risks for the Company.
- Identify the occupational hazards of each job.
- Ensure that workers know the risks of their job, the prevention measures deployed, and know how to prevent said risks
- Ensure workers have the medical conditions needed for their jobs
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Ensure proper processing and on time, safeguarding the interests of the Company and the rights of employees.
- Identify the causes, the responsibilities, and arrange the necessary measures to avoid its repetition.
- Ensure the financial resources necessary for its operation.
- Provide the best service to employees and guide them in their health and safety.
- Reduce or eliminate Vueling's subsidiary liability with respect to these companies.
Main Responsibilities - Tasks
- Identify the legal and regulatory requirements regarding Health & Safety that affect the Company's activity.
- Coordinate, through external parties, the performance of occupational risk assessments for all jobs.
- Identify, plan and deploy training and information activities on occupational risk prevention for workers.
- Carry out health surveillance activities (medical examinations)
- Attend the legally required external (every 4 years) and internal (annual) occupational risk prevention audits.
- Carry out the administrative management of occupational accidents with the Mutual, Social Security, pregnancy benefits, lactation.
- Carry out the investigation of occupational accidents.
- Participate with the Health & Safety Manager in the preparation of the Department's annual budget, and in monitoring it to anticipate deviations and ensure compliance
- Address and resolve doubts and complaints that come from workers in relation to Health & Safety.
- Coordinate business activities in preventive matters, defining the requirements to work at Vueling facilities
- Define, measure and report Health & Safety indicators
- Perform any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the job.
- Ensure that they remain within acceptable ranges, facilitate decision-making, and report on Vueling's Health & Safety performance.

With all the departments of the Company. External suppliers. Third party prevention services. Union representatives. labor authority. Mutual of accidents. Companies that work in Vueling facilities.
Education
- Higher Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention with at least one specialty.
- University degree.
- Rules of prevention of occupational hazards
Experience
- Recent graduate or with at least 1 year of experience as a technician in occupational risk prevention.
