The Capture Excellence team within Lockheed Martin (LM) Space Strategy & Business Development (S&BD) is responsible for Space's S&BD operations as well as enabling the business's growth objectives by leading with the people, processes, training and tools necessary to shape and deliver compelling and compliant offerings to our customers. Additionally, Capture Excellence is at the forefront of 1LMX implementation—an extensive digital transformation initiative—across Space S&BD and the Lockheed Martin corporation as a whole.
The Operations & Analytics team within Capture Excellence is the core of Space S&BD operations and transformation, with the responsibility to deliver key tools, resources, metrics and insights that drive strategic decision making and business growth. We are seeking an organized, customer service-oriented professional who will be responsible for managing team business operations. This role will include responsibilities like managing consultant agreements, onboarding, requests, invoices and records; managing repositories; adjudicating software license requests; leading help/Q&A sessions for software tools; pulling data and reports; supporting team business rhythms / calendars; supporting executive briefings; executing other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this role should have exceptional organizational and communication skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate across diverse and distributed teams. You should bring efficiency, effectiveness and eagerness to the role, along with the drive to find solutions and meet customer needs.
Desired Skills
- Experience managing contracts from request to purchase order
- Digital-first mindset (leveraging new tools and apps to drive efficiencies)
- Background in business, finance, or related field
- Experience managing consultant agreements
- Experience preparing reports and briefing data-driven insights
- Experience with Lockheed Martin’s opportunity lifecycle management process and the Opportunity Hub platform
