Manager-AO&CS in the role of Automation & Innovation
Job Purpose
This position provides the opportunity to be responsible for managing Automation & Innovation projects from initiation through implementation into a program pilot. Must be creative and effective in managing highly creative teams in a fluid and organic working environment. Primary responsibility will be defining project scope with clearly defined starts and stops outlining critical success criteria for each project as well as budget, staffing, scheduling, and the needs of external resources. Work across corporate services and the marketplace resources to define scope and budget. Knowledgeable of design thinking methodologies and the ability to define project scope as it relates to direct user research, co-creation, and iterative prototyping to develop innovation for consumer led services, products, and experiences.
Job Accountabilities
- Independently manage projects and ensures delivery within timeline and budget
- Develop project reports and present to stakeholders
- Define clear success criteria for automation projects
- Produce project presentations as requested by leadership
- Develop Statement of Work which has clear definition of user expectation
- Identify scope creep, and redirect projects with amended scope
- Work closely with leadership to ensure an inspiring, creative, open and productive environment
- Deal discretely and appropriately with confidential information concerning IndiGo and regulatory affairs
- Work closely with all stakeholders throughout the project phases
- Create Business Case, Test Scenarios and Test Cases
- Lead various User Acceptance Tests and sign them off when appropriate
- Plan project rollout phases and implement as per planning.
- Ensure to maintain Risk Register and Lesson Learned for each project

Mandatory Skills Required
- Education – Graduate in any discipline
- Years of Exp and Domain – Minimum 7 years in areas related to Airport Operations, specialized in applications related to customer touchpoints, such as Skyspeed, Skyport, GoNow, PRS, BRS etc.
- Technical Expertise – Having in-depth knowledge of various functionalities of above applications in addition to other applications used by AO&CS
- Conversant with Microsoft Office Applications

- PMP Certification
- Airline Industry experience – Other business areas of IndiGo
- Project Management and Portfolio Management
