Role Purpose
The Senior Executive – Ramp Safety will contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient operational environment on the ramp. The role focuses on proactively managing risks to protect aircraft, vehicles, ground personnel, and customers, while strengthening the overall safety culture across stations.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Data Management & Analysis
- Update ground incident data and maintain complete documentation; follow up with stations and cross‑functional teams to ensure timely closure.
- Support in categorizing, analyzing, and presenting safety data during periodic reviews and stakeholder meetings.
- Compile and update hazard reports, coordinate with stations for mitigation status, and assist the functional manager in analyzing trends during reviews.
Safety Communication & Awareness
- Proactively prepare and circulate safety bulletins, case studies, and keep the Ramp Safety Page engaging and updated.
- Record and publish Rewards & Recognition (R&R) activities conducted at stations.
- Coordinate with Safety Marshals to collate data from safety drives; track progress on tasks assigned to them.
Audit & Quality Compliance
- Record audit findings and observations, update the status tracker, and follow up for closures.
- Analyze repeated findings and prepare periodic quality trend reports.
- Support in conducting quality checks, spot checks, and safety drives at stations.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with multiple stations and verticals to drive and reinforce the safety culture across operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement safety improvements and share best practices.
Job Skills Required
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of ramp operations, aircraft handling processes, and ground safety procedures.
- Knowledge of safety management principles (SMS), hazard identification, and risk assessment.
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and prepare safety reports.
- Familiarity with audit management, compliance processes, and quality systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); ability to prepare dashboards and presentations.

Certifications Required / Preferred
- Ramp Safety.
- SMS (Safety Management System)
- Airside Safety Training (mandatory as per regulatory requirements).
- Audit Training (Internal Auditor, Quality Auditor, or Safety Audit familiarity preferred).
- Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) – Category 10/11 or as applicable (Preferred).
- First Aid / Emergency Response Training (Preferred).
