Job Purpose
The Airline Ground Staff Trainer will be responsible for training candidates in airline ground operations, customer service, safety procedures, and airport processes, ensuring they are industry-ready and aligned with airline standards.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Delivery
- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for airline ground staff roles
- Train candidates on check-in procedures, boarding, baggage handling, airport operations, and customer service
- Deliver training on airline SOPs, safety standards, and service excellence
- Conduct mock interviews, role plays, and scenario-based training
Curriculum & Content Development
- Develop and update training modules as per airline and airport requirements
- Prepare presentations, assessments, and evaluation tools
- Customize training programs based on airline or client needs
Assessment & Coordination
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide structured feedback
- Track attendance, progress, and readiness of candidates
- Coordinate with internal teams for batch planning and scheduling
- Maintain training documentation and records
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of airline ground operations
- Ability to train, mentor, and motivate candidates
- Professional grooming and classroom management skills
Education & Experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate (any discipline)
- Prior experience in airline ground operations
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Previous training or instructional experience
- Train the Trainer (TTT) certification
