Delta’s Airport Customer Service is seeking an experienced leader to oversee Delta’s Hong Kong airport operations. The Station Manager is accountable for safe, compliant, and efficient operations and for building strong partnerships with internal teams, airport authorities, and business partners.
- Providing strategic and operational leadership for daily airport operations.
- Driving on-time performance, IROP management, service recovery and customer experience.
- Building and leading a high-performing, resilient, and diverse team.
- Collaborating with regional and headquarters teams to ensure compliance with international aviation regulations and company standards.
- Championing Delta’s vision, values, and safety culture across all stakeholders.
- Leading change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Additional tasks may be assigned based on operational and business needs.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Valid authorization to live and work in Hong Kong at the time of application (Delta does not provide sponsorship) .
- Written and spoken fluency in English and Cantonese.
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
- Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education experience.
- Proven leadership experience in airport, airline, or complex operational environments.
- In-depth understanding of airport and aircraft operations, including ramp, baggage, customer service, IROP management, and aircraft performance.
- Ability to work irregular schedules, including holidays, and respond effectively to operational disruptions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively across all organizational levels, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and risk mitigation capabilities.
- Track record of successfully managing complex operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistent commitment to safety, security, and data protection.
- Ability to lead inclusively across cultures and embrace diverse perspectives.
- Strong performance history in current or previous roles.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Written and spoken fluency in Mandarin.
- Working knowledge of Delta computer systems, operational policies and procedures.
- Experience working in international or multicultural operational environments.
- Prior exposure to Asia-Pacific operations or major international hub airports.
