Role Introduction
Reports to: DGT IT Governance Resources Manager
Join our Information Technology team in Hong Kong and be part of a dynamic environment that drives innovation and efficiency across the enterprise. This role focuses on planning, performance improvement, and delivering analytical insights to support strategic decision-making within the IT department.
As a Digital and IT Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in managing departmental budgets, optimizing resources, and ensuring governance standards are met. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance productivity, contributing to the overall success of IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare IT performance updates and provide analytical insights to senior management
- Resolve barriers and conflicts (resource, timing, financial, sequencing) across multiple projects and teams
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and forecasts
- Drive continuous productivity improvement through automation and process streamlining
- Collaborate with managers and project teams to facilitate management reporting on cost, resourcing, and analytics
- Monitor cost performance for IT projects and support subsidiaries’ operations in compliance with governance standards
- Manage resource consumption and vendor invoicing processes
- Support onboarding and offboarding of IT contractor resources
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Accounting, or related disciplines
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable insights
- Good business acumen and experience in process automation or workflow streamlining
- Excellent numerical skills and ability to interpret data for performance improvement
- Familiarity with agile project governance and cost management preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
