Reports to: Head of Cathay Academy – Customer Experience
The Cathay Academy department (CAY) aspires to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, leveraging technology as a tool to enhance scalability and tailor the approval to individual needs. We drive for a consistent, seamless, Cathay style learning experience, and highlight both the design and delivery of our world-class training programs and curriculums.
In this role, you will be supporting development and enhancement of innovative learning solutions at Cathay Academy. You will contribute to proof‑of‑concept initiatives involving emerging learning technologies such as AI and VR, support the revamp of the Learning Management System (LMS), and assist with project management from a data analytics perspective.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Proof of Concept Project of implementation of learning technologies, eg AI and VR
- Assist in streamlining the analytical process by identifying inefficiencies, implementing automation tools, and enhancing data workflows to improve the accuracy and speed of reporting of learning data
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations to guide improvements in training programs
- Contribute to building comprehensive and automated dashboards to reduce manual efforts
- Support the LMS revamp, support project management, especially on the data analytics front of LMS
- Participate in the researching efforts for the latest learning technologies in the market
Requirements
- Year 2 or above undergraduates from data analysis, training, statistics or relevant major
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the relevant software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. is essential
- Experience in online survey, data analytics and visualisation tools is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Creative and innovative mindset
- Passion for the aviation industry
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Right of abode in Hong Kong (Non-local students with a "No Objection Letter" are welcome)
- Available to work full-time during the programme period
