The Digital Experience Strategy Team shapes the long-term vision for our digital experiences and identifies strategic opportunities for digital innovation. The team digital analyses market trends, customer behaviours, and emerging technologies to inform digital product strategy. We develop frameworks for evaluating new opportunities and ensure alignment between product initiatives and broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Support Cathay’s digital experience strategy initiatives by applying design thinking, structured problem‑solving, and business analysis frameworks—combining customer insight, competitive intelligence, and opportunity validation to shape new digital propositions.
Example tasks may include:
- Conducting user research (e.g. interviews, surveys, usability testing) to uncover needs, pain points, and opportunities
- Performing digital competitor and market intelligence to benchmark experiences and uncover opportunity areas
- Analysing qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights and inform strategic recommendations
- Mapping end‑to‑end customer journeys to identify experience gaps and moments that matter
- Developing and articulating early‑stage concepts, including value propositions and experience hypotheses
This internship offers hands‑on exposure to how strategy, customer insight, product, and business objectives come together to shape meaningful digital experiences.
Requirements
- Year 2 or above undergraduates from any discipline, preferably in Business, Strategy or Experience Design, or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Creative and innovative mindset
- Passion for the aviation industry
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Right of abode in Hong Kong (Non-local students with a "No Objection Letter" are welcome)
- Available to work full-time during the programme period (2 July – 27 August 2026)
