Job Overview And Responsibilities
The UAX Technical Operations team provides a broad oversight of all technical activities at UAX flying partners, working very closely with partners to ensure each partner operates safely, dependably and competitively.
The analyst will aim to provide accurate information and useful insights to help multiple partners make better data-driven decisions. They will be responsible for monitoring engine life cycle utilization and long term engine fleet projections to meet network needs. The role includes both strategic and tactical responsibilities by tracking engine asset transactions and records.
In addition to Tech Ops asset management, the analyst will coordinate with UAX commercial and finance teams to support maintenance activities. Generate reports and presentations as needed.
- Develop and maintain monthly engine fleet utilization tables, track spares and removals
- Track all asset transactions, sales, leases, and records.
- Communicate with Finance and Commercial to coordinate UAX MX asks (budget/forecast)
- Generate reports and presentations for leadership as needed for ongoing tech ops initiatives.
- Compile and assist with tracking open warranty, insurance claims, mx trends and USM part purchases.
- Help prepare operational reports for the morning Operations Debrief Calls
- Provide analytical support to other TechOps functions

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Mechnical Engineering, Aeronautical engineering
- At least 3-4 years of experience in aviation/ aviation maintenance or related fields; or At least 3-4 years of experience in any analytical field
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems
- Knowledge of aircraft fleet health and/or reliability programs
- Superior attention to accuracy and detail
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to do drill down analysis to identify operational root causes
- Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume data
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
Preferred
- Master's degree
- Prior airline / aviation experience
- Familiarity with using database querying tools, such as SQL, and data visualization/ reporting tools preferred
- Ability to design and track meaningful operational metrics preferred
