We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Contracts position within our Multi-Domain Assured Navigation and Timing Applications mission area. This role supports our Mission Critical Products portfolio, encompassing both government and commercial pursuits and contracts. This position is a remote position to support our Customers primarily in Arizona and California. An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). The ideal candidate will reside in a state that supports the
Mountain Standard Time (MST) work schedule.
What You Will Do:
- Advise the organization on contract negotiation and administration matters and provide support to senior management regarding contractual and business issues
- Conduct front-end proposal assessment, negotiate and execute contracts, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications
- Build relationships with regular communication with key leaders both internally and externally, interfacing with customers for correspondence, contractual changes, and contractual issues
- Support program management and executive reviews and general contract administration
- Maintain contract records and drive robust change management to recognize and eliminate ambiguities or unauthorized changes that could result in cost overruns, delivery and performance problems, and/or schedule delays in this development program
- This position will support Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST)
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree in Business or related filed and/or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience
- Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and equivalent U.S. Government regulations
- U.S. citizenship status is required as this position requires ability to retain/obtain a US Government Security Clearance (Secret) on Day 1 of employment
- Experience in contract administration/management for U.S. Government, Prime Customer contracts including cost-type contracts, fixed-price contracts, Other Transactional Agreements, or Direct Commercial Sales across various phases (development, production, sustainment, and services).
- Experience with proposals, including sole source and competitive pursuits, as well as intensive fact-finding and negotiations.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in change management, requests for equitable adjustments (REAs), Engineering Change proposals (ECPs), dispute resolution and negotiations
- Ability to interpret, comply, and advise on company policies and procedures
- Aptitude for shaping results in support of objectives, including ability to communicate with and influence executive leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and leadership teams
- Advanced Degree such as JD Law Degree or MBA or relevant Contracts Certifications such as CPCM or CFCM

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
