How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)
At Delta Air Lines, we’re redefining how brands connect with customers through premium, high-impact digital advertising experiences. As our platform continues to scale, we’re looking for strong operators who thrive in complex environments and take pride in delivering excellence at every stage of execution.
The Program Manager for Existing Ad Inventory leads the execution and operational optimization of Delta’s existing advertising inventory. This role ensures complex, high-value campaigns are delivered accurately and efficiently across a multi-system environment, while continuously improving manual and cross-functional processes.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution: Leads end-to-end delivery of partner advertising campaigns across existing inventory. Works both internally and with external partners to ensure successful campaign delivery; responsible for leading delivery coordination. In this role, own and manage implementation timelines, project plans, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams, serving as the single point of contact from kickoff to launch to ensure clarity and alignment. Translate leader objectives and scope into actionable technical and operational plans, and identify risks early, troubleshoot issues, and escalate blockers as needed to keep the campaign on track. Provide executive updates to leadership and lead coordination across Delta and partner teams. Identify potential gaps in successful delivery and proactively surface concerns.
- Operational Problem Solving: Resolve complex execution challenges involving multiple teams and systems. Break down cross-team challenges and facilitate problem solving across group to drive clear output, next steps, and resolution. Make judgement calls on when escalation is needed
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements to internal processes outside of day-to-day execution. Identify critical process opportunities and build plan cross-functionally across team around how to drive efficiency and greater process alignment. Establish continuous improvement function to reinforce success.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with sales, product, analytics, marketing, content, media, and operations to align commitments and execution. Lead day-to-day workstream discussions across working team and leadership, and surface areas of potential misalignment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure campaign accuracy, compliance, and brand standards. Drive standardization in how we approach operational delivery across new and existing placements, along with legacy Delta Sync partnerships.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage multiple tools and platforms to support execution workflows. Identify new opportunities to drive automation across our processes by leveraging new tools and resources.
