Primary Objective of the Position:
The HR System Analyst supports the transformation of HR operations through the use of artificial intelligence, automation, and digital tools. This role focuses on improving efficiency, streamlining HR processes, and enhancing employee experience by implementing practical, user-friendly solutions.
Partner with HR team members and cross-functional teams, the role will help develop AI-driven tools (e.g., HR chatbot, self-service solutions), optimize workflows, and support data-driven decision-making across the employee lifecycle.
Job Duties:
- Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of AI-powered HR tools (e.g., chatbot, knowledge base, automation workflows, SharePoint).
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HR processes (e.g., employee inquiries, onboarding, document generation) to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Maintain and continuously improve HR chatbot and knowledge base content to ensure accurate, consistent, and user-friendly employee guidance.
- Monitor employee inquiries and service trends to enhance self-service capabilities, reduce recurring questions, and improve overall employee experience.
- Enhance employee experience by improving access to HR information through digital tools and self-service platforms.
- Support HR Operations in maintaining data accuracy and process compliance within HR systems.
- Assist in standardizing and documenting HR workflows to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Support the development of HR dashboards and reports to track service usage and operational metrics.
- Analyze HR data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and provide actionable insights to HR teams.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
- Support initiatives that drive digital adoption, including user guides, communications, and training on HR systems and tools.
- Participate in HR projects related to digital transformation, system enhancements, and process improvement.
- Support change management efforts related to new systems, tools, and process enhancements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in any field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in automation, system implementation, AI tools, or digital solution development.
- Hands-on experience working with AI technologies, chatbot platforms, workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate), or knowledge management systems.
- Proven ability to design, build, or implement digital solutions that improve processes or user experience.
- Experience supporting HR systems or working with HR processes is an asset.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, automation, and digital solution design.
- Ability to translate business needs into system logic, workflows, or AI-driven solutions.
- Ability to learn HR processes and policies quickly and apply them to system design.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data, identify trends, and improve processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and user experience.
- Effective communication skills to work with HR team members and translate technical concepts into practical solutions.
