Sales Manager Central Region
Reports To
Station Manager
Role Purpose
To provide personalized service to travel agents e.g. 80 agents and execute strategies to meet the targeted revenue.
Key Accountability
- To sell products and promotions prepared by Revenue Management and monitor the sales of travel agents, by providing service and support related to FIT and groups movement, conducting product briefings
- To participate actively in travel trade and consumer fairs
- To collect insights regarding OALs strategy and analyze sales data from Business Intelligence and perform quaterly review with all accounts coverage
- To be liaison between Travel Trade and relevant Malaysia Airlines & Firefly Business Unit (revenue management, airport operation and customer service) in resolving problems arise from daily operation
- To develop and strengthen networking with the key decision makers within the Travel Agencies, including organizing MH related events and activities
Qualification & Experience
- Degree in Business Management, Tourism Management, Airlines and Aviation Management and any other related field of study with 1 year in sales and marketing positions
Skills & Knowledge
- Good negotiation and presentation skills
- Computer literate and have basic ticketing knowledge
- Ability to work as a team instead of silo and able to work under pressure
- Willing to work out of office hours and during weekends

- To maintain Malaysia Airlines market share under current stiff competition from OALs
