Position Summary
Lead the development, implementation and execution of a comprehensive broad-based, group-wide Enterprise Risk Management integrating Business Sustainability and Business Continuity Management, enhancing MAG’s business performance while supporting its long-term interests and business plans, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Key Accountabilities - Develop, maintain and enhance enterprise risk management tools, processes, frameworks and policies.
- Support business units in identifying, assessing, monitoring, mitigating and documenting risks, ensuring consistent application of ERM methodologies.
- In Business Continuity Management, accountable for group-wide contingency planning/business continuity efforts. Establish a framework and methodology for completion of contingency plans by internal business units.Coordinates training, communication, and testing of plans.
- In Business Sustainability, accountable to create/develop/execute strategies for a group-wide sustainability vision encompassing Economic, Environmental, Social and Safety matters.
- Implement organisational process or policy changes.
- Develop sustainable organisational policies or practices
- Provide analytical support to BOD and senior management by interpreting risk data, trends and emerging threats, including quarterly ERM report to the ARBC.
Qualifications / Areas of Experience
- Degree in business, aviation or related field; MBA
- Professional Risk certifications preferred
- Minimum 15 years in risk management or related functions
