Mission & Purpose
The Business Analyst EMEA supports the rollout and operational adoption of the Horizon AI platform across the EMEA region by configuring operational data, building workload profiles, and supporting data-driven workforce planning.
The role focuses on the collection, preparation, and configuration of operational base data required to run Horizon planning models. This includes supporting the integration of key operational datasets such as cargo management system (CMS) data, airline and trucking schedules, cargo volumes, and manpower cost data, ensuring the platform is populated with accurate and validated information.
The analyst supports the configuration of operational service standards and activity parameters used to calculate workload demand across warehouse and office operations. These service standards form the basis for generating workload profiles by customer, operational process, and cargo activity.
The role contributes to the generation, validation, and calibration of workload profiles, working with operational SMEs to ensure the profiles accurately reflect real operational processes and service requirements. This supports the transition towards data-driven strategic and tactical workforce planning across stations.
The role also supports the preparation of service level agreements, workload analysis, labour laws, CLA rules and workforce cost data used in budgeting and performance tracking.
Working closely with Workforce Optimisation teams and station SMEs, the analyst supports the preparation of weekly and monthly operational reporting, workload analysis, and performance insights that help improve workforce allocation and operational efficiency across EMEA stations.
