About The Role
The Manager of Procurement - Aviation plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the procurement processes specific to the aviation sector within the transportation and warehousing industry. This position is responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality aviation parts, equipment, and services that meet regulatory and safety standards. The role requires strategic planning to align procurement activities with organizational goals, cost-efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations. The manager will lead a team of procurement professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement in procurement operations. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within the aviation or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of aviation industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
