Description
We are recruiting for Finance MDM Analyst for Ahmedabad, India.
The selected candidate will support the execution of defined Finance MDM processes with accuracy and consistency, supports governance objectives, and escalates issue for resolution.
Accountabilities
- Execute creation, update, and validation of Finance master data objects (e.g., Chart of Accounts, Customers, Vendors, Bank Accounts, Fixed Assets) in line with approved standards and defined workflows.
- Apply established naming conventions, mandatory attributes, and validation rules as defined by Finance MDM governance.
- Perform assigned master data activities within agreed SLAs and escalation procedures.
- Perform routine data quality checks using predefined dimensions (Accuracy, Completeness, Validity, Uniqueness).
- Identify duplicate, inactive, or obsolete records and execute corrective actions based on approved rules and instructions.
- Support periodic data cleansing activities and remediation exercises.
- Log, track, and manage data quality issues through approved tools and processes.
- Escalate recurring, systemic, or high-risk data issues to the Finance MDM Lead with supporting analysis.
- Prepare standard dashboards and operational reports on data quality metrics, backlog, and SLA adherence.
- ensure day-to-day compliance with Finance data governance policies, audit controls, and data protection requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of operational procedures, clean-up actions, and evidence for audits.
- Follow defined controls to ensure traceability and audit readiness of master data changes.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her positions as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification
High School Qualification/ Vocational Qualification/ Diploma or equivalent with minimum 3 years of job-related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience
- Experience in data management, with Finance master data management role.
- Understanding off Finance master data management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with shareholders at all levels.
- Understanding and exposure to data management systems and enterprise solutions.
- Experience with data governance and MDM tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and Finance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to details and ability to identify incomplete or incorrect data.
