Description
We are recruiting for Finance MDM Officer for Ahmedabad, India.
The selected candidate will support the governance, quality, and lifecycle management of Finance master data ensuring data quality and compliance, leading issue resolution, and providing functional oversight to analysts.
Accountabilities
- Own and oversee the execution of Finance master data lifecycle processes from creation to archival.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Finance master data governance, standards interpretation, and issue resolution.
- Ensure consistent application of master data standards, naming conventions, and control frameworks across teams.
- Define, monitor, and drive Finance master data quality targets and remediation priorities.
- Review and validate data quality outcomes, trends, and root-cause analyses.
- Lead resolution of systemic, cross-functional, or high-risk data quality issues.
- Own Finance MDM dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to Finance stakeholders based on data quality trends and risk indicators.
- Support data-drive decision-making by ensuring reliability and integrity of Finance master data.
- Ensure Finance master data processes comply with governance policies, audit requirements, and data protection standards.
- Review and sign off on audit evidence, remediation plans, and control improvements.
- Proactively identify governance gaps, risks, and control weaknesses and drive corrective actions.
- Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, IT, and business stakeholders to align master data requirements.
- Lead knowledge transfer, training sessions, and awareness initiatives on Finance master data standards and processes.
- Support implementation of Data Owner and Data Steward roles within Finance.
- Maintain user guides and FAQs for Finance master data management.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification
- High School Qualification/ Vocational Qualification/ Diploma or equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
- Experience in data management with Finance master data management role.
- Understanding off Finance master data management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with shareholders at all levels.
- Understanding and exposure to data management systems and enterprise solutions.
- Experience with data governance and MDM tools and technologies.
- Finance master data management experience.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and Finance.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a structured project environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in aviation, retail or large enterprise ERP migrations is a plus.
