Description
We are recruiting for Procurement MDM Analyst in Ahmedabad, India.
The selected candidate will be responsible to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and governance of master data related to procurement and supply chain processes. This role supports sourcing, purchasing, inventory, and supplier management by maintaining high-quality master data across ERP and related systems.
Accountabilities
- Create, update, and validate supplier/ vendor master data, material master, and related attributes.
- Ensure compliance with approved standards, naming conventions, and mandatory fields.
- Identify duplicates, inactive suppliers, and obsolete materials; normalize names and codes.
- Validate data against internal policies and external sources; ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Apply predefined rules and guidelines to clean up the data master.
- Perform quality checks using defined dimensions (Accuracy, Completeness, Validity, Uniqueness) on regular basis.
- Log, track, and resolve data-related issues in line with SLA timelines.
- Escalate systemic issues to the MDM Lead and propose corrective actions.
- Generate dashboards and reports on data quality, progress, and issues.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies and audit requirements.
- Maintain documentation of cleansing rules, workflows, and governance processes.
- Prepare evidence for internal and external audits related to Procurement master data.
- Work closely with procurement, SCM (Supply Chain Management), Finance, and IT teams.
- Participate in governance forums and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain user guides and FAQs for Procurement master data management.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years of related experience
- Experience in data management, with at least 1 year in Procurement and Supply Chain master data management role.
- Understanding of Procurement and Supply Chain master data management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding and exposure to data management systems and enterprise solutions.
- Experience with data governance and MDM tools and technologies.
- Expertise in Oracle EBS, Fusion and/or MDM tools.
You must have the legal rights to live and work in India to be considered for this role.
