ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
The role of the commercial team is to provide pricing offers and quotations to customers. The team is accountable on both a pre-sales and post sales role and oversee pricing activities as part of a larger team for various type of bids size and products. The team is responsible for creating, structuring, shaping, and negotiating pricing and financial aspects of bids to address customer needs whilst complying with SITA's financial, risk and corporate policy requirements. They provide an independent oversight of commercial activities, policy and process in support of customer bids to drive financial viability and compliance to financial and business objectives while supporting business growth.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Review and evaluate an opportunity's commercial structure with regards to the financial framework of the deal risks contractual terms regulatory compliance delivery and full life cycle issues.
- Prepare pricing/financial deal analysis including competitive pricing options based on competition, market share, utilization, costs, and other appropriate aspects.
- Works with internal stakeholders (solution engineers, product, suppliers, delivery, operations, legal, finance) to develop appropriate contract type, scope, price & profit.
- Develop and implement deal-specific strategy for renewal and new business deals including the structure negotiation strategy nonstandard terms and conditions and competitive positioning in collaboration with the account and bid managers.
- As part of a team identify quantify assess and report risks associated with a bid.
- Support compliance with company regulations including bid process delegation of authority and governance.
EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent field.
• 1-2 years of experience in similar roles where financial or mathematical analysis is preferred.
• Previous experience in costing/pricing.
• Comfortable in performing financial analysis.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Accuracy and Attention to Detail
• High degree of proficiency in Excel and knowledge on MS office
• Willingness to work in a cross-functional and cross-culture team environment.
• An interest in IT, telecommunication, and infrastructure projects desirable
