PURPOSE
The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and understanding customers' business issues and processes, defining and documenting customer needs, and providing functional requirements and expertise for translating these needs into SITA solutions. The Business Analyst ensures that solutions comply with SITA's processes, validates and enhances customer requirements, manage change requests, and propose technical solutions and pricing models to meet business requirements, thereby ensuring financial profitability and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary interface for salespersons to support customers engagements on technical & commercial matters.
- Analyse and document customer requirements and business process.
- Work with customers to better understand their business models and develop sound technical solutions to meet the customer's requirements
- Provide customers with comprehensive, up-to-date information on SITA products, product enhancements and new solutions, through customer meetings and workshops.
- Support the technical qualification of customers' communication and data exchange needs through knowledge of current new or evolving technologies and SITA solution portfolios.
- Identify and recommend sound solutions built through SITA portfolio of products to meet customers’ demands.
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders to determine effort, feasibility, scheduling, etc. Provide input to bid team for presales activities (e.g. customer proposals generation, risk analysis, pricing, customer presentations, site surveys, work break down structures etc.) ultimately to build business case for customer proposals.
- Build simple business cases, based on standard pricing models to gain management support ensuring SITA’s profitability at all times.
- Acts as a source for commercial expertise through the understanding of SITA’s existing customers, contracts, products, markets, and competitors.
- Collaborate with the sales team to conduct negotiations on commercial contractual issues with customers and external partners where required.
- Participating in contract negotiation according to plan, minimizing contract risk and guaranteeing contract quality.
- Perform basic data analysis and reporting
- Work closely with project managers to ensure efficient transfer of projects for implementation
- Facilitate designs to be efficiently implemented Right the First Time (RFT) and smoothly transitioned into service operation.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 5 years experience in business analysis including experience of building user cases.
Knowledge & Skills
- Customer focused.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse groups at various levels of the organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Power BI is a plus.

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering.
