About The Role & Team
We are seeking a motivated Solution Engineer to join our Communication Data Portfolio team, focusing on networking and voice/mobile solutions across Europe. This role requires strong technical leadership and solution design expertise to influence and drive customer decisions effectively.

Solution Design
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop comprehensive and sustainable solution designs for projects involving airports, airlines, and transportation companies.
- Ensure solutions align with customer requirements and industry best practices.
Opportunity Qualification
- Assess and qualify business opportunities by understanding customer needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the right solutions that meet client expectations.
Customer Engagement
- Serve as a technical liaison to influence customer decision-making processes regarding SITA solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, particularly with major accounts and smaller customers.
Technical Expertise
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and solutions, particularly in voice, mobile, and security sectors.
- Provide insights on industry trends and competitive landscape to enhance solution positioning.
Collaboration
- Interface effectively with operational teams, delivery, commercial management, and product teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Act as a local team leader in Amman, representing the Communication Data Portfolio team across the EU.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the telecommunications or technology industry.
Certifications
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISCO CCNA, CCDP, or CCIE
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies and protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud solutions, LAN/Wireless technologies, security protocols, and voice communication systems.
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
Nice-to-have
- Experience working with airports, airlines, and transportation companies is preferred.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently.
