Our client is seeking an
Implementation Project Manager to coordinate the implementation of project management, project controls, and construction management technology in support of a major pipeline construction project.
Must Have skills
- 5+ years of experience in similar implementation coordination, project delivery, or technology implementation roles.
- Experience using Jira to support agile delivery, backlog management, sprint planning, and team coordination.
- Ability to facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver technology requirements.
- Strong Excel skills for tracking, analysis, reporting, and project support activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Nice to Have skills
- Experience implementing project controls systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction processes.
- Understanding of regulatory environments related to construction, infrastructure, or pipeline projects.
- Experience supporting digital tool alignment with project governance and reporting standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation of project management, project controls, and construction management technology solutions.
- Support delivery of digital solutions through a third-party vendor.
- Facilitate agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog preparation.
- Ensure user stories are clearly defined, actionable, and aligned with business and project needs.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on delivery principles, agile practices, and implementation best practices.
- Work closely with a Business Analyst to collaborate with project controls experts, engineers, and construction teams.
- Help define and prioritize technology requirements for project controls, construction management, and project management solutions.
- Ensure digital tools align with project governance, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to support clear communication and shared understanding of goals.
- Identify and remove impediments that may impact team progress.
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and effective collaboration across the project team.
