Role Introduction
Reports to: Business Transformation Manager
Lead the planning discipline and performance visibility that help Cathay’s Dining & Hospitality teams make better decisions. You will consolidate operational, customer, crew, supplier and financial performance data across assigned regions or functional portfolios, turning it into clear insight, structured reporting and accountable action tracking.
Working with Dining Performance, Culinary Design, Enablement, Commercial, and Digital & IT teams, you will maintain dashboards, support monthly and quarterly leadership performance packs, and strengthen the routines that connect operational forecasts with financial projections. The work spans performance reviews, governance meetings, transformation benefit tracking, scenario modelling and reporting automation, with data inputs from systems such as CuPs, BoMs, eCFR and supplier performance outputs.
This is a role for someone who enjoys making complex information usable. By improving how performance is measured, monitored and acted on, you will help strengthen accountability across Dining & Hospitality and support the experience Cathay delivers to customers, crew and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead performance tracking for assigned regions or portfolios, consolidating operational, customer, crew and financial metrics into structured reporting outputs
- Maintain and monitor performance dashboards aligned to agreed key performance indicator taxonomy and governance frameworks
- Analyse trends in customer satisfaction, crew feedback and satisfaction, operational reliability and budget adherence to highlight emerging risks
- Support structured performance review cycles with Dining Performance, Culinary Design and Enablement teams. Track corrective action plans arising from performance reviews, ensuring visibility of progress and outstanding risks (escalation ownership remains with functional leads).
- Support integration of operational forecasts with financial projections in collaboration with Commercial and support capacity planning and scenario modelling under the direction of the Business Transformation Manager
- Develop and maintain planning templates, tracking tools and structured logs to support consistent regional performance monitoring, improvement initiatives tracking, timelines and ownership
- Monitor implementation progress of improvement initiatives and transformation activities, including benefit tracking and measurement
- Identify cross-functional dependencies, bottlenecks, systemic reporting gaps, data inconsistencies and structural risks, escalating as appropriate to the Business Transformation Manager
- Prepare monthly and quarterly leadership performance packs and coordinate performance summaries for internal and external governance meetings
- Partner with Digital & IT teams to refine dashboards, improve reporting automation and ensure system data inputs, including CuPs, BoMs, eCFR and supplier performance outputs, are accurately reflected in reporting tools
Requirements
- University education with a degree in business administration and a relevant discipline
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or program management, preferably in procurement, travel, airline/hospitality, operations or other commercial role
- Solid project management experience, including the ability to handle information technology initiatives and coordinate delivery across stakeholders
- Strong data analysis insight, high numerical sensitivity and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Strong technical skills in Power BI (preferred) or Tableau, SQL, and Excel; experience with data modeling and ETL processes; demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Strategic thinker with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence change across functions. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executive management and non-technical audiences
- Experience in supplier performance management, contract/SLA metrics, and product performance analysis
- Energetic, persistent, independent, and creative; highly versatile and willing to take on new challenges
