Senior Executive – Transformation & Analytics
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical professional with strong quantitative, mathematical, and data science capabilities to support airline network planning, schedule optimization, frequency planning, and revenue management transformation initiatives. The role requires a combination of advanced analytics, optimization modeling, business intelligence, and stakeholder engagement to enable data-driven decision making across commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Mathematical Modelling & Operations Research
- Develop mathematical and analytical models to support schedule optimization, forecasting, frequency planning, fleet deployment, and network profitability analysis.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate business impacts under different market and operational conditions.
- Leverage Python-based optimization frameworks and statistical methods to solve complex planning problems.
- Data Analytics, Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Use SQL and Python to acquire, transform, and analyze large datasets from commercial and operational systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports using Power BI and other visualization tools.
- Leverage latest developments in the field of AI for business intelligence and decision-support
- Business Engagement & Transformation Support
- Collaborate with Network Planning, Revenue Management, Scheduling, Digital, and Business teams to understand analytical requirements.
- Support requirements gathering, validation, and user acceptance activities for optimization and analytics initiatives.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for stakeholders.
- Prepare documentation, presentations, and executive summaries to support decision making.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in: Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative disciplines
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in analytics, quantitative modelling, revenue management or network planning
Technical Skills
Optimization & Mathematics: Mathematical Modeling, Operations Research, Probability and Statistics, Quantitative Problem Solving
Analytics & Programming: Advanced SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy), Power BI or equivalent BI tools, Statistical Analysis, Predictive Analytics
AI Tools: Well versed with AI tools to leverage for efficiency and quality.
Preferred
- Exposure to optimization tools such as Gurobi, OR-Tools, Pyomo, FICO Xpress, or PuLP.
- Understanding of airline planning concepts such as schedule optimization, frequency planning, fleet assignment, slot constraints, connectivity analysis, spill and recapture modelling, and network profitability.
