Position TitleAssistant Manager, Central Region International Marketing (Digital)

Role PurposeAccountable for leading the development and execution of digital marketing strategies and initiatives in Central Region (Malaysia & ASEAN). Responsible to be part of marketing team to drive business growth, increase revenue and market leadership.
Key Accountability - Fully own end-to-end digital marketing initiatives and lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver success.
- Strategize, develop, plan, and lead integrated marketing communication initiatives aligned to business objectives, both financially and non-financially, given clear targets and KPIs.
- Lead and be accountable for driving and optimizing digital conversion rates for online bookings, ensuring a seamless and effective user journey from initial engagement to final transaction.
- Drive performance excellence by overseeing all aspects of digital marketing campaigns, including digital budget management, optimisation, and technical integrations (such as pixel implementations, cookie-less readiness, and website UX/UI improvements), ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed accurately and efficiently to deliver optimal commercial results, even if not personally executing the tasks.
- Lead and collaborate with internal cross functional teams and external parties on digital marketing initiatives to achieve the set objectives by ensuring the right media touchpoints to reach the right audience at the right time with the right content.
- Work with Senior Manager and other managers in the Central region team to design effective integrated marketing communication plans that translate into achieving business objectives. This includes ensuring briefing to internal and external team are done adequately, setting campaign objectives and measurements, identifying target audience, budget allocation, planning and implement marketing campaigns, optimizations, and post campaign review.
- Work with Senior Manager to design and improve current ways of working, including set digital performance tracking, set processes, and ensure process are adhered to deliver marketing initiatives success.
- Build positive working relationships across all parties, including internal stakeholders and external partners. When necessary, liaise with internal and external teams, such as the creative team, digital team, media agency, creative agency, social media agency, PR agency, corporate communication team, and others.
- Monitor and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets in a timely manner.
Qualification & Experience - Degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field would be preferable.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on performance marketing and a track record of driving purchase conversions.
