Sales Executive, Central Region Malaysia
Reports To
Sales Manager, Central Region Malaysia
Role Purpose
To manage high numbers of travel agencies and trade partners which involves delivering sales activities plans in achieving sales target in line with Corporate Revenue Targets. Handling of all sales matters’ conformation of company’s standards & procedures and day to day running of the sales office
Key Accountabilities
- To conduct Agent Sales Calls and building close rapport with agents to improve sales
- Develop, implement and manage sales and relevant marketing activities
- Monitor and review advance bookings profiles, preloads, demand forecast and market share to identify potential performance gaps
- Achieving Sales Target through robust and implementable sales action plans
- To obtain market intelligent and competitors information to improve sales
- To source for new channels and methods to improve sales
- To conduct product briefing and road shows where required
- To assist Sales Manager and any other support work required from time to time
Qualification & Experience
- Degree in any related field with minimum of 3 years of working experience and/or
- Diploma in any related field with at least 5 years of related sales experience
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge on airlines industry
- Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia languages. Other language (s) are added advantage
- Presentable, creative, integrity, meticulous, efficient, innovative and fast worker
Key Challenges
- Must be able to work independently and able to handle pressure and extended working hours
- Must have a pleasant disposition and possess excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation
