Position Summary
The Manager Ancillary Products & Strategy will lead the team focusing on the holistic health of ancillary generating revenue streams which includes Baggage, Even More Space, Preferred Seating, Core Seat Selection, Mint Studio, Mint Upgrades and other programs as they come available. The Manager will drive pricing optimization to improve revenue, overall reporting, modelling, and pricing mechanisms. In addition, the Manager will be the lead liaison with senior leadership showcasing actions, trends and performance.
Essential Responsibilities
- Set specific and impactful pricing strategies for ancillaries that will incite meaningful and efficient revenue production
- Monitor key performance indicators and trends to adjust pricing to optimize revenue
- Steer the overall ancillary strategy by garnering collective support from the wider organization
- Work closely with Commercial, Customer Experience and IT leaders to ensure product effectiveness and fulfillment
- Partner with the Data Science team to build out advanced pricing tools to further optimize ancillary revenue streams
- Efficiently compile, create and execute analyses for Exec level dashboards
- Step in for Director as needed, through overall representation of the Ancillary Products and communicating with senior leadership
- Act as a thought leader for the team, proactively improving processes, pricing mechanisms, and driving revenue generating programs
- Support the team in performing ad hoc analysis and model creation to make robust recommendations in support of revenue initiatives
- Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement
- Other tasks as assigned
Minimum Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
- Five (5) years of analytical or quantitative experience
- Two (2) years of Revenue Management experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
- Highly proficient in an array of analysis tools
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience And Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of analytical or quantitative experience
- Four (4) years of Revenue Management experience
- Experience within airline industry
- Strong track record of communicating insights to leadership
- Experience using programming language to extract large datasets

- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Uphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities
- The use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $81,000.00 and $136,200.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
