An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Stores Operative within our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Integrated Logistics Centre based in the Bristol Defence Operations Facility
As a Stores Operative you will be supporting the work of our Operations team on a range of products for our defence customers.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you will be doing:
- Coordination and completion of logistics related tasks to support in-shop engine build
- Logistics support includes; receipt and despatch of engine hardware and modules,
- General assistance to the Operations team to enable engine tasks to be completed efficiently including participation in loading/unloading, movement of engines / modules / piece parts
- Documenting all hardware movements with SAP
Who we’re looking for:

To be successful in this role you will need.
- You will preferably have a forklift license (B1)
- You will have experience in forklift driving.
- You will have experience of working within SAP
- You will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate flexibility, perseverance and initiative/self-motivation to meet the demands encountered in a maintenance facility.
- The ability to work as part of a team and provide support to other team members as and when required to perform a range of tasks is essential.
Please be aware this position may require working shift patterns.
To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence Business there may be a requirement for an individual to hold a level of National Security Vetting (NSV). If the requirement is identified Rolls-Royce will support the application for NSV if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
