This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office.

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager – Technical & Subsidiaries to join our Group Financial Reporting function, reporting to the Group Chief Accountant. This role is pivotal in ensuring easyJet complies with technical accounting and reporting requirements, delivering accurate financial reporting aligned to FTSE 100 standards.
You will be the go-to expert on technical accounting, leading the implementation of new standards, preparing technical papers for senior management, driving accounting considerations for key projects and staying ahead of external reporting best practice.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the Group impairment review and going concern assessment, and accountability for the Group accounting policy manual. Additionally you will have responsibility for subsidiary annual statutory and month end reporting, and support the Group year-end and half-year reporting. With two direct reports and a focus on collaboration, you’ll contribute to shaping easyJet’s financial reporting standards and supporting wider business goals.
What You Need To Do The Role
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/CA or equivalent) with recent, in-depth technical IFRS experience, with knowledge of IFRS 16 being highly advantageous.
You will have a strong balance of technical accounting expertise and commercial awareness, with exposure to non-financial reporting, IFRS statutory reporting, and working with external reporting bodies, including audit.
Exceptional communication skills are essential, with the ability to present complex technical areas in a clear, concise, and tailored manner to diverse audiences.
Experience in large FTSE, EMEA, or global organisations with diverse workforces is highly desirable, alongside a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to see the wider picture.
