Turkish Nacelle Center is a Joint Venture company between Collins Aerospace and Turkish Airlines Technic established in December 2010 and currently located in Sabiha Gokcen Airport/HABOM, Istanbul. The company offers maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services of thrust reverser and nacelle systems to commercial airlines both domestic and international. As part of our planned continued expansion, we at present require an experienced individual who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with our EMEA customers.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in operational HR within a fast-paced environment and have experience of business partnering within an HR role including:
- Maintain effective working relationships with management and employees to provide advice and counsel on employee-related and organizational matters, serving as an employee advocate and as a coach to employees and leaders
- Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care
- Ensure the effective execution of the full HR cycle
- Lead transactional HR processes including timekeeping, payroll, administration, documentation, reporting and EH&S
- Lead local and international HR projects to support the business needs
- Partner with leaders to implement and raise awareness about HR programs which support the business goals and produce results in a complex matrix environment
- Collaborate with the broader HR network (i.e. Employee & Labor Relations, Global Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management) to develop and deploy strategies that address site needs
- Support payroll practices and HR-related health & safety regulations
- Ensure that policies and procedures are monitored and applied effectively as well as to facilitate development of new HR policies/procedures
- Ensure the continuity of all existing HR systems and develop systems to create practices that grow, embrace and motivate all employees
- Design and lead new recruitment strategies to support business growth
- Promote company culture, employee engagement and operating principles (Collins Path)
- Facilitate company events and design/deliver training
- Leverage continuous improvement/lean manufacturing tools and methodology to align with business needs; seek new innovative ways to automate and streamline HR processes
- Compliance with all RTX policies and regulatory procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and International Trade Compliance requirements
Person Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English is a must
- Advanced MS Office and HRIS skills
- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in HR operations in a global environment
- Sound knowledge of local labor laws and regulatory requirements; union relations experience is a plus
- Passionate about the quality of the work performed
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Analytic, solution and result-oriented
- Strong customer service focus with a high level of responsiveness
- Multi-tasking abilities, adaptability and able to work effectively in a time sensitive and vibrant environment
