The Job
The Schedule planning team are responsible for the Development and Delivery of easyJet’s flying Schedule. Within this central planning function, we cooperate with areas across the business to deliver on a great flying programme for our customers.
Reporting into the Schedule Delivery Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of easyJet’s schedule, ensuring it is optimised both commercially and operationally, and is compliant with easyJet’s slot portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing
You will support the Schedule Delivery Optimisation Manager implementing and enhancing optimisation processes within the Schedule Delivery team and working closely with stakeholders to ensure a feasible schedule
With a responsibility for a portfolio of easyJet’s slots you will be heavily involved in the deliverability and optimisation of the schedule for a defined region of the Network and ensure that they comply with slot usage rules as detailed in the EU & UK slot regulations and IATA Worldwide Airport Slot Guide
You will manage stakeholders, evaluate, support, adapt and implement agile solutions to the benefit of the Short-Term Scheduling area and deliver the airline KPIs with a constant analytical, proactive, and continuous improvement approach through analysis, tracking and monitoring,
Action feedback both within the Scheduling function and wider Commercial & Operational teams defining the link between the Schedule Delivery area and the wider business and how this can affect overall business performance
What You Will Need To Do This Role
The ability to problem solve is crucial to this position alongside a degree or equivalent in a subject relevant to the requirements of the role. You will have excellent analytical ability and be able to demonstrate advanced use of MS Excel and be able to use analytical tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Airline Experience Is Preferred But Not Necessary
Knowledge of IATA airport codes and SSIM chapter 6, relevant to the request and maintenance of airport take-off and landing slots at level 2 and 3 airports would be beneficial
Understanding of EU and UK slot regulation and Worldwide Airport Slot Guidelines with reference to the “Use-it or Lose-it” rule, and Eligibility for Historic Precedence would be beneficial
This role will require occasional overseas travel

Location & Hours of Work
This role is full time and hybrid where we spend 60% of our time together as a team at our head office at Luton Airport. The Commercial team are typically in the office on Monday and Tuesday with a 3rd day of choice.
