About the team you are joining
Reporting
directly to the Director, Industry Financial Services, this position will be
responsible for the development, management and operational delivery of products
such as Enhancement & Financing (E&F) delivering more than USD 40
million towards IATA Commercial revenue, where the product portfolio is the
largest contributor.
What your day would be like
- Develop and communicate around the long-term vision and strategy of the product portfolio
- Overall responsibility for the products’ P&L, revenues, target setting & penetration, and 3-year strategic business plans.
- Responsible for the new product development as well as the maintenance of existing products through their complete life cycle.
- Develop Services and support systems to drive added value and innovation, and to support business growth.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality financial services to the satisfaction of Airlines, ATCs, Airports, Civil Aviation Authorities, and related Government Authorities with utmost operational integrity.
- Co-ordinate with business delivery and settlement (operations) teams on product availability, delivery and efficient service implementations.
- Support and enable the marketing team and regional sales teams in order to promote, sell and deliver products, determine prices and customize products within globally developed frameworks.
- Negotiate and manage civil aviation infrastructure financing facilities for clients.
- Lead, motivate and coach a team of multicultural staff and develops capabilities through effective talent management, recruitment and succession planning.
We would love to hear from you if you have
- A minimum of 15 years of international working experience with at least 7 years at a senior executive level in a similar position (with P&L responsibility), and extensive knowledge of the aviation industry.
- Proven track record in product development and product management oversight with strong knowledge to handle platforms involving financial and IT requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams and to foster collaboration across functional and cultural lines.
- Outstanding leadership and management experience in a high-pressure, multicultural, and international environment.
- Strong communication, relationship management and negotiation skills with experience in closing "C" level deals especially involving government and related entities.
- Comfortable operating under pressure, driving multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering to tight deadlines.
- The ability to work in a complex, business critical and high profile commercial and operational environment situations.
