Primary Job DutiesAs a Recruitment and Planning Specialist, you’ll work directly with future SkyWest employees and will be able to educate them about all of the benefits of working at our industry leading airline. You’ll also be able to help current employees take advantage of new positions in the operation. - Assist in the selection and hiring processes including: all synergies in strategic corporate recruitment and selection including: sourcing candidates, working with vendors for ad space, interviewing, and selection
- Ensuring compliant, data-driven hiring processes and strategic decisions
- Working closely with departments to meet hiring needs with responsibility for all company job postings and requirements
- Daily prioritizing of screening of applications and scheduling interviews
- Responsible in educating candidates and employees on all SkyWest benefits, talking points, bonus opportunities, etc.
- Leverage data to make recommendations for targeted recruitment efforts
- Daily oversight of company recruitment email responses and other communication to candidates
- Ability to forecast needs and source top candidates using all types of resources

Preferred Skills
- Outstanding listening, speaking, writing and interpersonal skills in both technical and non-technical fields necessary
- Knowledge of federal and state employment law relating to selection and hiring
- Experience with recruiting via social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
- Previous experience in interviewing and selection
- Experience working with Application Tracking Systems (ICIMS or Salesforce experience a plus)
- Knowledge of basic requirements for all key SkyWest positions
Physical and Other Requirements- Must possess valid driver license
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Occasional travel may be required
