Job Title: Sr. Manager – Cabin Maintenance
Function: Engineering
Location: MRO Facility – Bengaluru (BLR)
Reporting To: Chief Manager – Workshop Operations
Job Purpose
The Sr. Manager – Cabin Maintenance will be responsible for overseeing cabin maintenance activities to ensure high standards of cabin quality, regulatory compliance, and passenger satisfaction across the aircraft fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Address and resolve passenger cabin-related grievances effectively.
- Conduct routine surveys on the aircraft fleet to identify cabin deficiencies and plan corrective actions.
- Ensure that only approved parts, materials, tools, and equipment with valid documentation are used during maintenance activities.
- Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and quality standards during all cabin maintenance operations.
Team Management
- Conduct competency assessments and annual performance appraisals for line maintenance staff.
- Support, mentor, and develop team members to enhance technical skills and overall performance.
- Take on additional responsibilities or projects as assigned from time to time, in coordination with management and HR.

Key Interfaces
Internal:
- Engineering teams, MCC, Inflight Services, Cabin Appearance, Planning, and Logistics departments
External:
- DGCA representatives and approved vendors to maintain high cabin quality standards
Educational Qualifications
- 10+2 (PCM) or equivalent
- Ab-initio AME training from a DGCA-approved institute
- Valid DGCA (India) AME License with type rating or company authorization on two or more aircraft categories
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on cabin maintenance experience on transport category aircraft in a scheduled airline
- Experience on:
- Narrow-body aircraft (A320 family) – minimum 10 years, and/or
- Wide-body aircraft (B777 / B787) – minimum 8 years
