Role Introduction
Reports to: Procurement Centre of Excellence Manager – Compliance & Performance
As the Procurement Centre of Excellence Assistant Manager – Compliance and Performance Analysis, you will play a key role in ensuring excellence across our procurement processes through data-driven insights, automation, and continuous improvement.
You will lead initiatives to automate dashboards for compliance and performance reporting, enabling real-time monitoring and actionable analytics that enhance the overall Source-to-Pay (S2P) process. By integrating data across multiple systems and applying your analytical expertise, you will identify trends, drive operational efficiency, and strengthen procurement governance.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance and alignment with Cathay’s procurement standards, policies, and processes
- Develop, prepare and distribute clear and actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations using data from multiple sources, such as the category team, procurement leadership team, and senior management
- Manage and oversee the analytic module (such as SAP Spend Control Tower / Ariba Spend Visibility / Reporting), establish integration for transferring data from various sources for enrichment and classification into usable reports and dashboards
- Automate dashboard creation and updates, ensure dashboards pull data from multiple sources and update in real time
- Map out manual reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation (e.g. data entry, validation, report generation). Use automation platforms to reduce repetitive tasks, minimize errors, and accelerate reporting cycles.
- Support and train the procurement team in using the analytic module for their development of category strategies and action plans.
- Facilitate continuous improvement on compliance and performance across the S2P processes.
- Lead investigation of compliance issues as they arise, design corrective actions and preventive measures; support on the regular updates in Procurement Policy and Procedures
- Provide business insights including spend analytics, procurement benefits, purchasing channels and customer feedback to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Work collaboratively across teams to address compliance concerns and provide guidance on best practices.
- Project management and support strategic initiatives of PCOE as required.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Procurement, Business Administration, IT or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, reporting or analytics
- Familiarity with procurement systems (SAP, SAP Spend Control Tower, Ariba Upstream, Ariba Spend Visibility, Ariba Guided Buying) and data governance best practices.
- Experience with automation and visualisation tools (such as Power-BI, SAP Analytical Cloud, RPA platforms) or advanced modelling tools for data analysis.
- Strong understanding of data integration, workflow mapping, and process automation
- Ability to design intuitive, real-time dashboards tailored for compliance monitoring.
- Excellent numerical, writing & reporting and analytical skills to interpret dashboard data and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong follow-through on deliverables.
- Project management experience will be an advantage.
