How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)
Supports the operational, administrative, and technical functions of museum programs and services. Assists with the management of collections, exhibits, digital assets, archives, and media systems while helping facilitate positive visitor and stakeholder interactions. Performs routine coordination activities such as documentation, scheduling, data management, and procurement to ensure smooth daily operations while ensuring compliance with Delta Professional Services and museum policies, safety standards, and brand/experience guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative Support
- Coordinate schedules, calendars, and logistics for meetings, exhibit work, collections activities, events, tours, photography/filming, and training.
- Maintain records and documentation including SOPs, checklists, logs, accession files, metadata, contracts, invoices, and work orders.
- Perform data entry and reporting related to collections, exhibit inventories, digital assets, media archives, ticketing, attendance, work orders, and system usage.
- Support procurement activities, including quotes, purchase orders, receiving, inventory tracking, and reconciliation.
Museum & Collections Support (as applicable to role)
- Assist with cataloging, handling, documenting, digitizing, and preserving museum collections, archives, audiovisual materials, and historical assets.
- Support exhibit development and maintenance activities such as artifact preparation, installation, condition reporting, media setup, and project coordination.
- Maintain digital archives, media systems, and content repositories following established metadata and lifecycle standards.
- Assist with brand, design, and content alignment for museum communications, signage, exhibits, and digital channels.
Guest, Visitor, and Partner Support
- Provide customer and guest service including front desk support, ticketing, phone/email responses, and member/partner assistance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, donors, researchers, media partners, and Delta enterprise groups.
Facilities, Systems, and Compliance Support
- Track equipment and assets, submit maintenance requests, and support audiovisual, computer operations, and digital system monitoring as required by role.
- Maintain compliance documentation such as safety checks, audits, policy acknowledgments, environmental controls, and collections care standards.
- Prepare and distribute communications including notices, signage, orientation materials, rosters, and project/status updates.
Other Responsibilities
- Support onboarding/offboarding tasks such as access setup, training scheduling, and workspace coordination.
- Identify and escalate issues to leadership and assist in resolution.
- Contribute to a safe, secure, and guest-ready museum environment.
Success Measures
- Accuracy and timeliness of data entry, records maintenance, and documentation.
- Quality and consistency of collections, exhibit, media, or digital asset support.
- Guest/visitor satisfaction and responsiveness to inquiries or service requests.
- On-time coordination of scheduled activities such as tours, exhibit work, events, and archival tasks.
- Inventory, asset management, and procurement accuracy.
- Compliance with safety, preservation, documentation, and audit requirements.

- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint); experience with museum collections databases, DAM systems, CRM/ticketing platforms, or A/V systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and service orientation.
- Ability to follow established procedures, handle confidential or sensitive information, and maintain high-quality documentation.
