CDL Driver to join our Houston TX team supporting the George Bush International Airport.
Key Responsibilities as a
CDL driver (Class A or B License) at dnata Catering, your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently operate and drive our fleet of 380 catering trucks and other company vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of aviation catering services. Your friendly and helpful demeanor will be key in providing excellent customer service to our clients in the aviation industry. In addition to driving, you may also be involved in loading and unloading catering supplies, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing routine inspections. Your attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to navigate routes effectively will contribute to the overall success of our catering operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load & unload trucks to cater to aircraft.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Communicate with the flight crew, maintain good relations with the customer.
- Work in a safe manner to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.
- Cater to the airlines professionally.
- Ensure flights are catered correctly and on time.
- Comply with all HACCP/GMP and sanitation for proper food handling policies and procedures.
- Comply with Ramp Safety policies and procedures, safety vests must be worn while out on the field.

This salary range and is influenced by the level of experience. When calculating the base pay, we take into account various factors such as location, qualifications, training, and experience as part of the overall compensation package.
EDUCATION Minimum of a High School Diploma CDL A or B License / endorsement required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a Warehouse/Airline catering environment.
- The ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a Port Authority, Port ID (per TSA regulations and more specifically, 49 CFR
- 1542.209)
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Reliable - excellent attendance & punctuality
- Schedule flexibility is a must, ability to work 1st or 2nd shifts.
- Ability to lift and push heavy objects, racks, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work safely to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
Intellectual/Social demands
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. Work environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold/heat (weather), heights and loud noise (earplugs must be worn while on the Ramp)
