As a Supply Chain Administrator you’ll serve as a key liaison between departments to ensure seamless production workflows. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help ensure our ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining Astronics’ reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work Order Packet Creation:
- Compile and assemble all necessary engineering and production documentation for manufacturing work orders.
- Ensure packets include current revisions of drawings, BOMs, and routings.
- Data Management & Documentation Control:
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical records of work orders and supporting materials.
- Archive completed work orders, receiving tickets, and shipping pick tickets according to company policy.
- Systems Management:
- Update and manage ERP/MRP systems to track work order status.
- Cross-Functional Communication:
- Act as a liaison between supply chain, production teams, and other departments to ensure work orders reflect current priorities.
What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a detail-oriented team player who is ready to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or similar administrative roles, ideally within manufacturing or related industries.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, documentation, and ERP/MRP systems such as Intuitive, SAP, or Oracle.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Understanding of production workflows and supply chain processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration across teams.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced environments and meet competing deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $18-22/hr, influenced by several factors including experience, skill set, education, certifications, market conditions, and business needs.
