The team is responsible for managing Finnair’s real estate assets, development and modification projects as well as workplace and user services across the entire property portfolio. This portfolio covers a wide range of highly specialized facilities, including headquarter offices, aircraft hangars, air cargo and food production facilities, ground support equipment storage and maintenance workshops as well as a comprehensive training center with aircraft simulators and advanced training capabilities. We are now looking for a REAL ESTATE MANAGER, OPERATIONS to join our Real Estate and Facility team! In this role, you will be responsible for high quality daily operations across the company’s real estate portfolio. The role enables continuation in core operations within Finnair production facilities and office environment, efficient handling of daily operational tasks, including defects, findings, and service tickets and proactive support of onsite activities performed by external suppliers. This position is key in ensuring a smooth experience for all user groups from office to production. The role works closely with the Real Estate managers, the key suppliers as well as the stakeholders working in different units. In this role, you will: Run the real estate daily operations across the Real Estate portfolio, including action planning to avoid or minimize operational deviations. Ensure timely and high-quality resolution of service tickets related to defects, findings, maintenance and service requests. Serve as the point of contact for daily facility operational questions and for real estate maintenance supplier on site team. Coordinate and supervise external service providers (e.g., maintenance, cleaning, security, technical services) performing on‑site work. Ensure suppliers comply with agreed service levels, quality requirements, and workplace safety protocols. Identify opportunities for process improvement in daily operations and suggest solutions to enhance service quality and efficiency. Our expectations: 5+ years relevant work experience in real estate, facilities, or construction environments. Technical education, preferably in real estate and/or construction and real estate maintenance. Excellent collaboration skills to foster a positive working environment and build trust with stakeholders and partners. Good understanding of stakeholder’s needs and development. Strong capability to coordinate internal and external teams and supplier/partner networks. Strong problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and lead others without formal authority. Good technical know-how on real estate technical systems. Ability to keep high level of operational capability even in challenging and fast-moving operational difficulties. Clear communication skills in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
