Senior Executive Engineer, Technical Services (System)

Position Summary
Technically competent and proactive aviation professional to provide fleet technical support and ensure continuing airworthiness in the field of aircraft system. The role supports both MAB fleet operations and third‑party customers, working closely with internal stakeholders, OEMs, and regulatory authorities to maintain safety, reliability, and cost‑effective operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide fleet‑level technical support and continuing airworthiness management for assigned aircraft systems under ATA 21, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 35, 36, 38, 47 in accordance with approved regulatory requirements.
- Support engineering and operations teams during disruption events, including AOG recovery, technical troubleshooting, deferred defects, chronic issues, and aircraft technical delays.
- Conduct technical studies and analyses to identify root causes and implement solutions aimed at improving dispatch reliability and operational performance.
- Evaluate and manage manufacturer and regulatory technical documents such as Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other continuing airworthiness data.
- Propose and assess engineering solutions including aircraft and component modifications, repair schemes, products, and process improvements to enhance maintainability, lifecycle performance, and operating economics.
- Execute Design Organisation activities where delegated, including development of engineering procedures, in‑house repairs, alternate parts approval, and deviations from OEM‑approved data under CAAM Part 21 privileges.
- Liaise with OEMs, vendors, airlines, MROs, and internal departments on technical, operational, and engineering matters within assigned scope.
- Prepare technical justifications and recommendations to support business decisions related to cost optimisation, contract negotiations, repairs, and modification strategies.
- Manage and support engineering projects such as component repair/overhaul programs, aircraft end‑of‑lease activities, budget planning, and preparation of management papers and proposals.
- Perform additional duties and special technical assignments as assigned by the Manager, Cabin/System
Qualifications / Areas of Experience
- Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 2 years' experience as Senior Technical Services Engineer with well-rounded technical experience, or LAE background and knowledge on MAB fleet
- Minimum experience as a Design Engineer having experience in Aircraft System
Personality Traits
- Experienced with technical and maintenance issues pertaining to aircraft system for fleet such as but not limited to – B737, A330, A350, & ATR72.
- Excellent communication, presentation and decision-making capabilities.
- Able to do business case proposal and management papers.
- Familiar with CAMO and Part 21 Design Organisation regulations and procedures

- Ability to efficiently manage, organize, allocate tasks, supervise and motivate engineers within the section.
- To manage up-to-date technical data, information and procedures required for operational use.
