Position Title
Senior Executive Engineer, Technical Services (All Trades)
Reporting To
Manager, Technical Services
Position Summary
Ensuring the availability of technical specialist support as demanded on-site for timely release of aircraft, engines and components in an acceptable airworthy condition and to provide immediate preventative solution to recurring defects that can have immediate adverse effect to operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Providing comprehensive resolutions for issues arising on the assigned fleet type
- To monitor on-time performance, fleet reliability and safety incident trends and to initiate any actions necessary to address emerging issues
- To work closely with Production Planning, Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, Quality Assurance and Corporate Safety to ensure that the assigned fleet achieves optimum operational, safety and economic performance levels
- To correlate Technical Services Team inputs and ensure on time response to issues raised at the Daily Engineering Operation Meeting
- To ensure that persistent or long outstanding defects on aircraft and components are rectified
- To carry out AD/SB Evaluation
- To carry out reliability studies of aircraft components, PIREP and MAREP, and other trend monitoring activities
- To maintain close ties with the aircraft manufacturers in ensuring that MAB issues are correctly prioritized
- Participate in implementing effective company policies and procedures for the continued operations and growth of the business
- Identify, evaluate and promote projects that are contribute towards the development programme and which will deliver process improvements
- Support Design Organisation activities as required
- Consult and liaise with the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) on technical issues
- Responsible for any other assignment TSM allocates from time to time.
Qualifications / Areas of Experience
- Degree in engineering from an internationally recognised university
- 5 years of work experience in Technical Services trades
Personality Traits
- Must possess an understanding of company procedures.
- Must possess an understanding of Part-145 and Part-M

- To manage and maintain an acceptable competency level within the section.
- Ability to efficiently manage, organize, allocate tasks, supervise, and motivate engineers within the section.
- To manage up-to-date technical data, information and procedures required for operational use.
- To continuously undertake preventive or corrective measures to increase work quality and efficiency.
- To provide quality and timely technical consultation service in the related field
