Senior Executive Engineer, Power Plant
Reports To
Manager Power Plant
Role Purpose
Undertake certifying responsibilities under CAMO to study and evaluate modifications, repair schemes, products or processes to enhance the economic operation, maintainability and life of aircraft, engine or component.
Key Accountability
- Maintaining continuous airworthiness of power plant of appointed engine type (further power plant).
- Implementation of the modifications, improvement of the reliability of power plant.
- Development of technical documentation for technical support operation within the power plant tasks undertaken by the TSD.
- To provide technical support for line and basic maintenance in eliminating complex technical defects, failures and malfunctions of power plant.
- Liaison with manufacturers of aircraft and power plant.
- Maintain the status of airworthiness directives and service bulletins in the range of engineer's duties.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Degree in Engineering Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical with 3 years of Aircraft related experiences.
Skills & Knowledge
- Understand the Engine Maintenance Program, Design Organization Approval, and Maintenance Planning Document.
- Possess excellent engineering fundamentals and comprehension.
- Familiar with engine overhaul, repair and maintenance costing.
- Able to do business case analysis and produce management papers.
Key Challenges
- Monitor the engine operating costs, and ensure within approved budget.
- Coordinate operations of engine utlization on-wing and ensure no delays in operations.
- To ensure MAB's current engine maintenance practises is as per the latest engine development programs practised by the industry.
