Technician, Simulator Maintenance
Reporting To
Assistant Manager, Maintenance & Technical Support
Position Summary
Carry out repair and maintenance of Flight Simulator Training Devices and their components for MAB Academy in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Carry out the scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance in order to achieve optimum simulator serviceability.
- Perform repair and overhaul of simulator parts to ensure spares are available at all times.
- Perform daily readiness check on all simulator to ensure the equipment are operational for flight crew training.
- Regularly monitor building facilities and report to property department for any abnormalities to ensure environment requirement are met.
- Provide support and perform immediate defect rectification as required by simulator instructor during their training session to ensure the training can be completed on time.
- Involvement in adhoc projects as and when required
Qualifications / Areas of Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Electro Mechanical
- Preferably 1 - 2 years' experience in Maintenance & Operations of Flight Simulator Training Devices
Areas of Experience
- Basic knowledge in Analog and Digital circuit theory and computer hardware/software literate.
- Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagram. Experiences in using electronics test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc)..
