About the team you are joining
The Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) has long been the backbone of agency–airline settlement, processing over USD 230 billion annually and serving as the industry’s most efficient and trusted payment channel. As the travel ecosystem evolves and new distribution and payment models emerge, the BSP is at a pivotal moment. Its share of global passenger sales is declining, signaling the need for a renewed strategic focus to protect its relevance and unlock new growth.
To address this inflection point, IATA is launching a BSP Growth Programme built around two pillars: (1) Retention and Growth of BSP Participation, and (2) Product Development and Innovation. This programme aims to strengthen BSP’s competitiveness, expand its value proposition, and secure sustainable long‑term SCU growth across all regions to reach 1 billion transactions by 2030.
The Airline Participation Growth Senior Manager will play a central role in driving airline participation expansion and leading the global BSP Intermodality programme.
