As our lovely colleague has moved to a new position within the Communications team, we are now looking for a highly talented, experienced and motivated SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER to lead the planning, execution and development of Finnair’s social media presence. In this role, you combine strategic thinking with hands-on content creation and analytics. A key part of the job is creating strong social-first video content that brings the Finnair brand to life across channels. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Communications, Marketing, Brand and People & Culture, and act as the go-to person for social media topics. Main responsibilities: Own and develop Finnair’s organic social media strategy and channels. Create engaging content, with a strong focus on video and visual storytelling. Ensure Finnair’s tone of voice is clear, consistent and distinctive across all social media channels. Plan, produce and edit social-first content for different platforms. Manage the editorial calendar and day-to-day social media presence, including community management, together with the team. Own and develop Finnair’s social media advocacy program. Identify opportunities, risks and emerging topics, and act on them with relevant stakeholders. Monitor and report performance and develop ways of working, including adapting AI into your workflow. Our expectations: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in communications or marketing communications. Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats and trends. Hands-on experience in video creation, including filming, editing and adapting content for different channels. Strong copywriting, storytelling and visual skills. Strong ability to prioritise and perform under pressure. Experience in managing brand voice and dialogue in social media. Good analytical skills and experience with social media tools and KPIs. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Fluent Finnish and English, as you will create content in both Finnish and English. Master's or bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a relevant field.
